This blend features mullein, horehound, plantain, red clover, elecampane, marshmallow, lobelia, and ginger in a convenient liquid tincture format.

Mullein and horehound have a long history of traditional use in herbal medicine for cough support, while marshmallow root is traditionally used to help soothe irritation of the throat and respiratory tract.

Ingredients

Medicinal Ingredients (Each 1 ml contains):

Mullein (Verbascum thapsus, flower and leaf) — 0.16 ml
Horehound (Marrubium vulgare, flowering herb top) — 0.16 ml
Plantain (Plantago major, leaf) — 0.16 ml
Red clover (Trifolium pratense, flower) — 0.16 ml
Elecampane (Inula helenium, root) — 0.14 ml
Marshmallow (Althaea officinalis, root) — 0.10 ml
Lobelia (Lobelia inflata, herb top) — 0.07 ml
Ginger (Zingiber officinale, rhizome) — 0.05 ml

Non-Medicinal Ingredients:

Distilled water, certified organic alcohol, certified organic vegetable glycerine.

Suggested Use

Adults: Take 2 ml (60 drops) three times daily in a little water on an empty stomach. Take a few hours before or after taking other medications or health products.

Consult a health-care practitioner if cough worsens, persists for more than 7 days, or is accompanied by high fever.

Cautions & Warnings

Consult a health-care practitioner prior to use if you have or are being treated for unstable blood pressure, hypernatremia, cardiac arrhythmias, respiratory disorders, or gastrointestinal disease such as ileus, atony, or obstruction.

Consult a health-care practitioner prior to use with tobacco.

Consult a health-care practitioner if symptoms worsen or persist.

Contraindications: Do not use if you are pregnant or breast-feeding; if you have a known allergy or hypersensitivity to members of the Lamiaceae (mint) family; or if you have heart disease, high or low blood pressure, kidney or liver disorder, diabetes, or edema (swelling of hands, face, or feet), or are taking products containing diuretics.

Stop use and seek medical attention immediately if you experience dizziness, confusion, muscle weakness or pain, abnormal heartbeat, and/or difficulty breathing.

Known Adverse Reactions: Hypersensitivity (e.g., allergy) has been known to occur, in which case discontinue use. May have a laxative effect. Discontinue use if nausea, diarrhea, coughing, dizziness, or tremors occur.
