Ingredients

Sodium (Sodium Chloride, Trisodium Citrate Dihydrate) 1.704 mg, Potassium (Potassium Chloride) 0.788 mg, Chloride (Sodium Chloride, Potassium Chloride) 2.292 mg, Citrate (Trisodium Citrate Dihydrate) 1.864 mg, Glucose 13.6 mg.

Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Natural Berry Flavour, Citric Acid, Stevia Leaf Extract, Silica, Carrot Juice, Blueberry Juice Powder.

Suggested Use

Dissolve (entire content of packet) in 250 ml of drinking water (to achieve appropriate concentration of medicinal ingredients). Stir/shake the solution before taking/giving. Children (1 year of age): Take/give 50 ml 1 to 2 times per episode of diarrhea and/or vomiting, up to a maximum of 1000 ml (1 L) over a period of 24 hours. Children (2 - 9 years): Take/give 100 ml 1 to 2 times per episode of diarrhea and/or vomiting, up to a maximum of 1000 ml (1 L) over a period of 8 to 24 hours. Adolescents and children (10 years and above): Take/give 200 ml 1 to 2 times per episode of diarrhea and/or vomiting, up to a maximum of 1000 ml (1 L) over a period of 24 hours.

Cautions & warnings

Consult a health care professional before use if fluid and electrolyte intake must be limited or if there is the presence of gastrointestinal obstruction, cardiovascular or kidney disease. Consult a health care professional if vomiting or diarrhea worsens or continues beyond 24 hours; if signs of dehydration occur such as changes in mental status, irritability, lack of interest or inactivity, reduced urine output, dry mouth, increased heart and/or breathing rate, decreased tears and/or sunken eyes; if signs of electrolyte imbalance occur (such as disproportionate thirst, muscle weakness, or swelling of the hands, face and/or feet); or if feces contain blood or mucus or if diarrhea is accompanied by a high fever, yellowing of the eyes or skin, or persistent vomiting; if vomit is green or contains blood, is accompanied by severe abdominal pain or a high fever, or if a bowel obstruction is suspected. Consult a health care practitioner prior to administering to infants (up to 1 year). Not to be used following or during vigorous exercise.
