Recommended dose
Adults: Take 0.3-1.2 mL (10-40 drops) 3 times daily in a little water on an empty stomach. If using California Poppy primarily as a sleep aid, the full daily dose of 0.9-3.6 mL (30-120 drops) can be taken from 30 to 60 minutes before bedtime. Take an additional dose of 0.9-3.6 mL earlier in the evening if necessary.
Cautions & warnings
Consult a health care practitioner: if sleeplessness persists continuously for more than 4 weeks (chronic insomnia); if symptoms worsen or persist; before use if you are breastfeeding. Avoid taking with alcohol or products that cause drowsiness and/or with analgesic properties.
Contraindications:
Do not use if you are pregnant.
Some people may experience drowsiness. Exercise caution if operating heavy machinery, driving a motor vehicle or involved in activities requiring mental alertness.
