Probiotics help restore and maintain a normal bacterial microflora in the intestines. Probiotic-3 is a unique probiotic formula containing three bacterial species with specific health-promoting attributes: Enterococcus faecium T-110, Clostridium butyricum TO-A, and Bacillus subtilis TO-A. Although these three strains are new to the North American market, they have been widely used in hospitals and pharmacies in Asia for over 50 years. E. faecium T-110 is a natural resident of the human gastrointestinal tract that produces lactic acid, reducing the gastrointestinal pH and thereby preventing the growth of harmful bacteria. C. butyricum TO-A is also a natural inhabitant of the human gastrointestinal tract. It breaks down dietary fibers into several beneficial nutrients, including butyric acid that nourishes the digestive tract cells. B. subtilis TO-A promotes the growth of E. faecium and C. butyricum, as well as the growth of several beneficial Bifidobacterium species strains. Clinical studies have shown numerous health benefits, including reducing allergies, improving immunity, reducing bloating, constipation, and diarrhea, and even better detoxification. Ingredients
Active Ingredients (per capsule): Enterococcus faecium T-110 18 million CFU, Clostridium butyricum TO-A 0.6 million CFU, Bacillus subtilis TO-A 0.6 million CFU.
Inactive Ingredients: Lactose, potato starch, polyvinyl alcohol, and povidone. Capsule: hypromellose.
Suggested use
Adult Dosage: Take 2-3 capsules daily, with or without food, or as directed by a healthcare professional. Take at least two to three hours before or after taking antibiotics. Swallow capsules whole; avoid crushing, breaking, or mixing them.
Cautions & warnings
Consult a healthcare professional before taking this product if you are pregnant, nursing, have a fever, vomiting, bloody diarrhea, or severe abdominal pain. Do not use if you have a weakened immune system (such as AIDS, lymphoma, or if you are on long-term corticosteroids). If you have symptoms of digestive disorders (diarrhea) and if these symptoms worsen or persist for more than three days, stop taking this product and consult a healthcare professional.
