Cautions & warnings
Consult a healthcare professional before using this product if you suffer from asthma, cardiovascular disease, immune system disorder, hormonal disorder, diabetes or hypoglycemia, chronic liver or kidney disease, cerebral palsy, seizure disorders, migraines, depression, or high blood pressure, or if you are taking sedative, psychotropic, anticoagulant, anticonvulsant, steroid, carbidopa, antihypertensive drugs, or serotoninergic drugs/supplements, including but not limited to tryptophan, S-adenosylmethionine (SAMe), St. John's wort, antidepressants, analgesics, cough remedies containing dextromethorphan, anti-nausea, and migraine drugs. Discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional if you notice skin changes, signs of weakness, mouth ulcers, or abdominal pain accompanied by severe muscle pain. Some individuals may experience mild gastrointestinal issues such as diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, or hypersensitivity (e.g., allergy); if so, discontinue use. This product may cause drowsiness; exercise caution if participating in activities requiring mental alertness. Consult a healthcare professional if insomnia persists beyond three weeks (chronic insomnia) or if symptoms persist or worsen. Consuming with alcoholic beverages or other medications or natural health products with sedative properties is not recommended. Do not take if pregnant or planning to become pregnant, breastfeeding, under 18, have scleroderma, or any other health condition, or if taking immunosuppressants. Avoid driving or using heavy machinery within five hours after taking Ortho Sleep®. This product contains ingredients derived from corn; do not use if allergic. Seek the advice of a healthcare professional if using for more than three weeks.
