Tropical Sunshine Protein Smoothie Recipe

If you've had a chance to try Sea-Licious Omega oils, you know how surprisingly light and great tasting they are.  Why not try adding them to your smoothie to boost your Omega 3, EPA and DHA as well as add a tropical flavour!  This kid-friendly smoothie recipe is good for everyone, with a balanced profile of healthy fats, protein, antioxidants and fibre. Not to mention the taste of mangos, pineapple and coconut that will take you away to a tropical place...

Ingredients:

1 cup coconut milk

1/2 cup pineapple (frozen works too)

1/2 medium banana

1 Tbsp Sea-Licious Tropical Colada Omega-3 Oil

1/2 avocado

1 scoop Vanilla protein powder

1/2 tsp turmeric powder or fresh turmeric

3-4 ice cubes

Directions: 

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. (Tiny umbrella optional but recommended.)  Enjoy! 

*To modify this recipe into a Post-Recovery Protein Smoothie, we recommend the Sea-Licious Active Orange Vanilla Omega-3 + MCT Oil.
